Terms of Use

Last updated October 26, 2026. These terms are the agreement between you and Animal Audio for animal.audio, the Animal Software Center, and the samples and tracks you keep there.

Your account

You need an account to download plugins and to use Samples and Tracks. New accounts start as members. Animal Audio may give an account the admin role. You are responsible for the activity on your account.

Samples and tracks you upload

Samples and Tracks are private libraries for your own files and for sharing those files with people you choose. Tracks are songs. Samples include loops, one-shots, and pieces of songs. Neither library is a public marketplace. You decide what to upload, how to organize it, and who can hear it.

You are solely responsible for every file you upload, store, preview, organize, copy, share, sell, or distribute. That includes a full song, a track, and any sample of a song, such as a chop, a loop, a stem, an excerpt, or any other piece of a recording. It also includes a downloaded sample pack and every license or right that applies to the file.

If a song, a sample of a song, or any other recording should not be sold or distributed, you must not upload it, store it here, share it, sell it, or give it to another person. That includes material you do not own, material you have not cleared, and material whose license forbids redistribution, a shared library, or giving it to someone else. Following those limits is your duty. It is not Animal Audio's.

Animal Audio does not review your library, does not check licenses, does not clear rights in songs or samples, and does not grant you any right in third-party music. Animal Audio is not liable for an upload, a share, a sale, a distribution, or any other use you were not allowed to make. A claim about a song or a sample of a song is between you and the people who hold the rights.

What we are not responsible for

The site, the Software Center, Samples, and Tracks are provided as available. Animal Audio is not liable for loss of files, interrupted uploads, or how you or someone you shared with uses a sample or a track. You keep your own copies of anything that matters.
