Our habitat
Built in
the wild.
Animal Audio is an independent plugin house. We design instruments that feel like places: rooms you want to stay in, not panels you fight through.
Less menus. More movement. Every control should invite play. We ship wild tools with clear intent and skip the corporate jungle gym.
We are four: two startup founders who live in San Francisco, and two who moved here from Chicago and happened to land within a mile of one another. We met on Halloween, and nowhere else but the DJ decks.
“A whole zoo of plugins”
“Tools should feel alive.”
